Sweet SunlinerYou may not know Bryan Fuller's name yet, but you've likely seen his work, and seen him at work on television. Fuller began honing his metal-shaping talents at SO-CAL Speed Shop in Pomona, California, and spent three years sharpening his fabrication and design skills under the tutelage of Chip Foose. He has also served as a key member on several build teams on the hit TLC show "Overhaulin'."

After several years in California, Fuller recently headed east to Atlanta, Georgia, to open up Fuller Hot Rods, a shop specializing in custom cars, motorcycles, and metalwork. With his first motorcycle already making waves on the two-wheel scene, Fuller is focusing his latest efforts on a '55 Ford Sunliner for radio personality Kim Peterson, aka The Kimmer (www.kimmershow.com).

Starting with a cherry restored ragtop, Fuller has already built new 16-gauge steel floors that will effectively channel the Art Morrison chassis. Other goodies will include a 500hp, 460ci Ford Racing big-block, Wilwood six-piston brakes, and one-off 20-inch wheels carved by A&M Machine to look like '50s hubcaps. Interior and paint will be performed by students at VC Tech (www.vctechnical.com). As you can see from the Nick Garfias illustration, the finished creation will display a host of slick, subtle modifications, while blending classic and contemporary custom styles in a fresh fashion.
